Overview
The Construction Industry Development Board regulates and accredits organisations in the construction industry that serve local and national government. nVisionIT built the CIDB’s core line-of-business systems, including the Construction Register System (managing applications, grading and approval of construction companies), and designed and built the Register of Projects and iTender components used by government departments.
Outcomes & impact
The CIDB systems are seen as a key public-sector enabler given South Africa’s infrastructure focus, improving visibility of the status of each public infrastructure project under construction, with National Treasury attention to CIDB delivery-management standards.
