Overview
BidTravel is one of South Africa’s largest travel-management companies (a Bidvest subsidiary). nVisionIT was appointed as primary software development partner to stabilise and support the MyMarket and BOSS applications, and to upgrade MyMarket middleware: migrating schemas, maps and bindings, deploying to new servers, and rewriting legacy modules without source code while aligning delivery with VAT and regulatory changes.
Outcomes & impact
The work streamlined travel-procurement processes, reduced operational friction and improved user experience across BidTravel’s brands. Forex uploads, customised approval workflows and negotiated-rate integration supported compliance and cost control; infrastructure upgrades ensured reliability and scalability.
