Overview
IDEMIA partnered with Standard Bank to enhance card issuance and distribution across Africa, collaborating with nVisionIT on an Enterprise Stock Management system for Standard Bank’s Card Division. The system tracks the full card lifecycle, from branch order, through IDEMIA production, to customer delivery, in a multi-tenant architecture across nine African countries, integrated with logistics providers for real-time shipment tracking. It also fully rewrote the legacy Card Management System, exposing APIs for integration.
Outcomes & impact
The system improved operational efficiency, reduced manual errors and enhanced visibility across the card supply chain. Branches gained real-time stock data; courier integration streamlined logistics; and audit/reporting features strengthened compliance across 250+ Standard Bank branches.
