BidTravel

eProcurement and Travel Booking

BidTravel is one of South Africa’s largest travel management companies and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bidvest Group. It operates a portfolio of leading travel brands including Rennies Travel, Travel Connections, CWT, and BCD Travel, serving both corporate and leisure markets.

nVisionIT was appointed as BidTravel’s primary software development partner, tasked with stabilizing and supporting the MyMarket and BOSS applications. This included ongoing bug fixes, operational support, and maintenance, as well as adjustments to team structures and delivery models to align with BidTravel’s evolving needs.

nVisionIT also upgraded the middleware for MyMarket, which involved migrating schemas, maps, and bindings, deploying applications to new servers, and ensuring compatibility with MyTravelMarket and itinerary modules. The integration and modernisation work included rewriting legacy modules without source code, prioritizing enhancements based on business impact, and aligning delivery with VAT compliance and other regulatory changes.
